Heart Shaped Vinyl: The 70s (Promo)

The 1970s. Punk. Knives. Somewhat saucy photo-shoots in the office for the 1970s leg of Devious Theatre’s Heart Shaped Vinyl.

Kevin Mooney (as Jimmy Skids), Philip Brennan (as Bryan) and Alexandra Christle (as Deedee) were made for the 70s, and the subsequent shoot at The Maltings along with the final image produced really lent itself to the promo and staging. Continue Reading

Heart Shaped Vinyl: The 60s (Promo)

With my theatre hat on, Devious Theatre returned to the stage at Cleere’s in May 2016 for a special tenth anniversary restaging of the company’s first original work, Heart Shaped Vinyl.

Presented in a mixtape format exploring the role and influence of music on relationships over the decades, the show is split into ‘tracks’ spanning the sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties, the early noughties and present day. Continue Reading
